A rare and unusual mantis visits the garden.

This morning brings an unusual surprise, waiting on the back of the moth cloth was a rare and unusual mantis, The Feather Mantis. Elongated and creatively camouflaged this mantis can disappear into the foliage and out of sight. We were lucky to have been able to see and capture images before it took flight and went home back to the forest.
